Global Mode > Narcissus and Drowning Animals
Participatory Virtual Reality project (2018-present)
Global Mode > Narcissus and Drowning Animals explores ecological disaster, behavior and manipulation of information through a series of site-specific, interactive VR scenes and physical installations in the surrounding space. Open-ended, fluid roles crisscross between the public, virtual 3D animals, and a performer from the past. Involving viewers on both sides of the reality wall, this project addresses the instability of our actions, their unintentional outcomes and the continuous/constant mediation these actions are subject to.
